THE TRUTH + NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH
With the new app update, we’re one step closer to making Consmr the ultimate destination for smart shoppers by launching nutrition info + grades! Products are rated A, B or C with details on whether they contain ingredients you might want to avoid, such as saturated fat, preservatives, artificial sugars, etc.
Think the letter grades look familiar? They were inspired by the restaurant health grades showing up in cities across the US. If it works for picking a restaurant for your family to enjoy, why not for the food you buy for home?
BUY vs. SO-SO vs. SKIP
Whenever you scan a product, you’ll now see Buy, So-So, or Skip. If something says Skip, we’ll show you great similar products.
EVERYTHING BUT THE GLUTEN
Finally, helping those with gluten intolerance has always hit close to home with us at Consmr. (Our founder is gluten free!) We’re pleased to announce the addition of 1000’s of new gluten free product listings in our app. Just look for the Gluten Free tag on any scanned product, or use the Filter button to show only products certified gluten free. If you find a gluten free product that isn’t tagged, let us know by mentioning “gluten free” when you write a review.
